Livery Color: Red

We are but poor workers in wool, linen, silk and even cotton. We toil all day preparing the fibers to be spun and then to be woven, knitted, embroidered, netted or made into lace. We garb the people. We adorn the halls. We shelter those who travel. And when the fruits of our labors are worn and tattered, they can be torn asunder and made into paper for the writing of great works, or simple correspondence. We are necessary to everyday life. Yea, we are the very fabric of society.
And now we find ourselves being threatened by those guilds who are jealous of our prominence. These lesser guilds are suggesting we are taxed too lightly, and charge too much. They do not recognize the value in our toils. They want to rob us of our rightful place in the Great Charter of the Guilds. And we will not stand for it!! We will hire champions to battle for us. We will rise up and take arms ourselves if necessary. We will string our bows. We will create grand displays and competitions to prove our worth, although we are saddened that such proof has become necessary.
